What Happens When We Die?
One of the biggest roadblocks, not just in occult practice, but with life in general, is fear. Fear holds us back. Fear keeps us from perusing our highest excitement and reaching our fullest potential. One of the greatest fears most people have is the fear of death. Death is something that happens to us all, so naturally, we'd be afraid of what it means. It doesn't help that the biggest religion on the planet has ingrained this idea of eternal damnation for everyone that doesn't join their club and live how they say you should live. Hell, even people who are a part of that club are afraid they still won't make the cut. The good news is, you don't have to be afraid. No membership or strict rules to follow required.
The following is a very basic overview of what happens when we die. I received this information from both extensive research into NDE's and straight up confirmation directly from my Guides; so of course, take it for what it's worth. I can't definitively prove any of it any more than anyone can. The truth is, we won't know for absolute certainty until it happens to each of us, but I hope that this might bring some comfort and encouragement.
First, let's establish the baseline. Our true shelves are immortal. You don't have a soul, you are a soul. The whole purpose of having lives is so that our Spiritual Self (our Higher Self/Soul) can learn and grow. There's no negativity, challenge, or strife in the Spirit. Growth comes from challenge. Physical reality acts as a super elaborate training simulator, allowing our Souls to experience everything, and thus grow from said experiences. What we are are shards of consciousness from that Soul living out what is basically a very lucid dream in which we're trying to accomplish established goals for that life.
When we die, the specifics are different for everyone as it's still your consciousness informing what you experience, so everything is still going through the filter of your perspective. The very general gist is you'll be greeted by at least one of your Guides that will escort you through the process. The first major part of that process is the life review. You'll go back over your life and not only see all the good and bad that happened, but you'll experience it all from the perspectives of the people that your actions affected. You'll feel how you made them feel, both positive and negative, so that you can truly understand just what kind of impact you had. There's no judgement in this. You aren't being rewarded or punished. It's meant to be the ultimate learning tool.
Once that's over you'll be free to explore and do pretty much whatever you want. You'll be able to spend time with those you loved who died before you (assuming they haven't moved on yet.) You'll be able to go anywhere, experience anything that you always wanted to. You'll have the opportunity to potentially become a Guide yourself. Eventually, you'll decide it's time to go home, and you'll "wake up" as your true self- your soul. You'll still be you. It's been described as like waking from a deep sleep after having had a very vivid dream. You'll remember it all, but you'll also remember, "Hey, this is who I really am."
That's it. That's obviously an extremely basic, stripped down version of what happens. If you're interested, there's lots of really interesting experiences that people who have died and come back have had that gives more specific details as to what they experienced. I'll link a few interviews I found interesting below. I hope that this, in at least a small way, has given you a bit of comfort and alleviated some of the fear and anxiety you may feel about death. It really is nothing to be afraid of.
